Current Openings
Huntington will soon relocate our manufacturing plant to Grass Valley, California. Our vacuum components, for the most part, are machined, formed and/or welded stainless steel, the preferred material for vacuum applications. They differ from other fabricated steel products in that they must use high quality steel free from microscopic sulfur stringers or other imperfections, be extremely clean (free from machine oils, finger prints or dust) and they must be ‘leak tight.’. This requires that a helium leak detector be used to check every weld for microscopic leak paths that would cause the product to leak under vacuum conditions.
We are looking for WELDERS with 3+ years experience working with close tolerances and the ability to read blueprints. Must be willing to perform sample weld for leak testing. Position may require initial training period in Mountain View.
We are also looking for MACHINISTS with lathe and mill experience both manual and CNC.
